About Eric

I have penned this blog of poetry and prose which morphed into NORTH COUNTRY CALLS for about two years. I try to return daily to chronicle a poem or two. It has been a journey of self-discovery. Its trail runs on high ridgelines left behind and into secret valleys vaguely known of but never before explored.

This last valley I traverse is silent. Dark. Deep. It gazes up to the heights above and down, down, down within lost crevice and cavern of yesteryears and dreams forgotten.

Come, walk with me a while.
Dwell on birdsong
and passing dreams,
and forest streams,
and mild moonbeams;
come, walk just one more mile.

    • I love sharing my gift with you three girls! You all have a wonderful eye for beauty and a photographic story. As the saying says, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” You girls have written about a million words, then! And you make me wish to return to Italia, the nation of romance and enchantment! Ciao, girls! ❀ Eric
