Thank you, Annie! Check out her excellent poetry at:
And a special thank you to a special lady, Kalabalu! Check her writer’s blog out at:

There are actually three sets of rules. Since I hate rules, here’s my special rule: If you don’t like a rule, you rule!
Oh, yes, a SECOND special rule: you don’t have to respond to this nomination for BOTH awards. It was made solely to herald you as the greatest poet, artist or writer in my world!
And, last but not least, the THIRD special rule of Eric is: If you are not on this list, it does not mean I do not believe you are a talented writer/artist. If I follow you, there is a Reason. I like to follow your blog and I consider you an artist of the highest quality.
The rules of the Liebster are :
Post Eleven Facts about yourself.
Answer the questions the tagger has set for you and create eleven questions for people you have nominated.
Choose eleven people to give this Liebster Award nominations to and add the link back in your post.
Go to their page and tell them.
The rules of the Very Inspiring Blogger are:
1.) Display the award logo on your blog.
2.) Link back to the person who nominated you.
3.) State 7 things about yourself.
4.) Nominate 15 bloggers for this award.
5.) Notify those bloggers of the nomination by linking to one of their specific posts so that they get notified by ping back.
My Shared Things About Myself:
1. I am a simple man with simple dreams and simple treasures. My favorite poet is Robert Frost.
2. I am an artist (not to be confused with entertainer, player, fantasy, god or priest).
3. I do not believe in art without conscience.
4. I believe that art is the highest, most noble level of communication.
5. I believe that if we believe we know it all, we misunderstand the very nature of the Creator. It would take forever to know all about the Creator.
6. I do not believe in the “I am the center of the universe” philosophy. (even for artists!)
7. I am an outdoor-person. John Muir, in my opinion, had the right focus. He was a deeply spiritual man, who had an exceptional knowledge of scripture and who possessed an even more exceptional wisdom of what constitutes a sacred place and thought of God.
Now, the envelopes please… Nominated for both the Liebster and the Very Inspiring Bl0gger awards are:
Bill- he is one of the most talented, humble writers I know. His subjects are simple but have deep meaning. He writes a lot about a bygone age. I just love it when he posts. He brings out a side of humanity that this busy age of ours has passed by in its haste to get to the next stoplight one car length in front of the rest of us… http://bwfiction.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/533/
Claudia: How do I describe Claudia? She is from the modern age. She is from the renaissance. She is a dreamer. She has her feet firmly on the ground. She writes like a European. Her works sing like she is the girl next door. She is modern. She is from a bygone age. She is a young lover. She is a wise mother. She has her own unique artistry, a poetic Picasso. Read her. Find out for yourself… http://jaywalkingthemoon.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/thetimeswrapup/
Crystal: a lucky, romantic yet sensually modern woman is she. She has a unique form of writing and the flair for expressing the feelings of a woman in the midst of the most anguishing, promising, hopeless age man has known up to this point…
http://shackledandcrowned.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/lucky-woman/
Soumya: one of the most talented poets and essayists I have come across on WP, she has an eastern flair of writing that melds with western until it is one word: beautiful. Read her blog. You will see what I mean: http://soumyav.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/the-written-word/
Allison: A talented poet and artist of the mind, Allison has a modern style that uses the emotional colors of the inner person to express very deep thoughts. Read it.

Cristina, Martina and Maria: These are three beautiful Italian ladies who are poets of the camera. A picture says more than just a thousand words when these girls start to click! Check them out at: http://lesuperkikke.wordpress.com/2013/01/27/i-present-to-you-roma-at-sunset/
Patricia: Another poet with a camera that runs between New York and London, her sharp images of both people and nature reach into the soul of her photographic canvas. She is an artist. Enough said! http://nylondaze.com/2013/01/04/union-square-gotham/
Lori: Her poetry is simple, the themes profound, the emotions vibrant. Check out her poetry at:

Safaa: This Dainty Damsel is a kindred spirit of another age when poems actually were of higher language, style and meter. Yet, so young, she is an 18 year old from East India. Read her. You’ll become a believer too! http://thedaintydamsel.wordpress.com/2013/01/08/treading-yesterday/
Ana: Ana is a poet both with the pen and with the photograph. She has such inspiring images to share. Check her out!
http://analivingston.wordpress.com/2013/01/11/dinner-on-the-beach/
Mims: Last—but certainly NOT least—Whimsy Mimsy continues to astound me each and every poem with her emotional and sensual expressions. She is a true artist of the pen. http://whimsymimsy.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/carpe-diem-haiku-eyes/
Thank you, all! And with that, I bid you a fair day… Eric
